The 2019 USS Simon Lake Reunion will be in Savanna, GA from Monday, September 23 to Friday, September 27.
It will mark the 25th Reunion, 20th anniversary of the ship's decommissioning and the 55th anniversary of the ship's commissioning. Special Tee Shirts are being sold for pick up at the reunion - See below.

Rooms are $139.00/$154.00 plus 13% sales tax
Rooms include parking, full breakfast, Managers Reception each day 5:30 - 7:30.

Monday Sept 23rd 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Welcome Reception Celebrating our 25th Reunion and ship's anniversaries, with heavy Hors d'oeuvres in Savannah Room C (Will also serve as our Hospitality Room) located on Main floor .
Hospitality Room to remain open for Registration and Meet and Greet.
Tuesday Sept 24th
Trip to Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.
Lunch on Base
Submarine Museum , St Mary’s, Ga
Wednesday Sept 25th
Tour Georgia Port
Tybee Island Lighthouse and Museum, Tybee Lite Shrine Club
Lunch at The Original Crab Shack
Tour Southbound Brewery
Thursday Sept 26th : Free Day
For those interested : 9:00 am - 9:30 am VA Seminar in Hospitality Room
Veterans Field Services Officer Travis Neidig will be conducting private interviews afterwards . If you are interested in scheduling and appointment with Mr Neidig contact me at email@example.com for a time and you must bring ID and DD214. Mr Neidig’s office serves Veterans from all states.
Banquet will be held in the Savannah Room B at 7:00 pm. Please wear your Sunday best.
Hospitality Room will be open after the Banquet.
Friday, September 27th
After breakfast have a safe trip home.
The cost for the reunion is $115.00 per person. The reunion is open to all shipmates from all years and their guest. It is possible to to just attend part of the time. Contact us for the cost for less than full attendance.
To register send a check, name(s), address, email, phone number, dates you were on board and your rank or rate while on AS33 to Danny Poole, 2129 Hinkleville Rd., La Center, KY 42056. Don't forget to reserve a room at the hotel.
Please plan on bringing a gift (typically $15 - $25) from your home area that will be for a fund raiser raffle to defray the hospitality costs.
